Welcome to… Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church – Where Every Member is a Minister
11am Fourth Sunday in Lent March 22, 2020
Prelude
* Call to Worship
Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on us.
Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on us.
As we gather for worship today, allow your Spirit to fill our very being.
As we worship, we remember our brothers and sisters who are worshiping elsewhere throughout the world.
Inspire each of us to live more faithfully as your disciples,
where ever we are and whatever our circumstances.
* Opening Hymn The King of Love My Shepherd Is No. 138
Unison Prayer
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Let us pray,
Lord, it’s hard to keep from projecting too far into the future. I begin to worry about things that I can neither determine nor change. But you have promised to be a light unto my feet, Lord. That light lets me see where to take my next step, but doesn’t let me see the whole path stretching in front of me. I know I can trust you to take me into the future one step at a time. Please give me strength and direction enough for today, Lord, and I’ll leave the future up to you. Amen.
