Community Service Projects and Volunteers Needed

The United Methodist Men, in coordination with our Volunteers-In-Mission program, is exploring a partnership with Partners In Care, an area community service organization, to identify community service projects that the church could support. If you are interested in participating in such an effort, or you know of someone in our church family or community who could be served through our VIM program, contact our church mission coordinator, Doug Wallace (phone 410-969-8640 and email dougwall1@comcast.net).

United Methodist Men Meeting and Pancake Supper

The United Methodist Men will meet on Sat, Jan 12th, 2008 to dismantle the church nativity scene and take down any remaining Christmas decorations. We will also do any clean up necessary following the holiday season. We will start at 8:30, and will have a short business meeting prior to starting work to discuss other up-coming UMM events. Donuts and coffee will be provided.

The UMM will also sponsor its traditional pancake supper on February 5, 2008 as a start to the Lenten season.

The United Methodist Men is open to all men of the Church and community. The group meets the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM for breakfast, devotions, study, service projects, or fellowship–as determined by the group. Details of their activities will be published in the newsletter and bulletin. For information, contact the church office.
