New Bible Studies Starting Soon

A Lenten study, Five Practices of Fruitful Living, will meet Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 102. This study addresses the following:

1. Radical Hospitality
2. Passionate Worship
3. Intentional Faith Development
4. Risk-taking Mission and Service
5. Extravagant Generosity

Written by United Methodist Bishop, Robert Schnase, this study serves as a guide to fundamental personal practices which enhance and deepen spiritual growth, as well as help us to become instrument of God’s grace. This study will run for 6 weeks, beginning Shrove Tuesday, February 12.

Beginning the same week, on Thursdays, will be a 12 week study, Following Jesus-Steps to a Passionate Faith. This study explores how we can more-fully live out the promises we make as members of Christ’s church, to support the church’s ministries by our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service. First produced by Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church and written by husband/wife team Carolyn and Michael Slaughter, who have shared ministry for 28 years, this study will help you grow in your faith more actively. Study begins Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 102.
