The UMW will sponsor a Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 17th beginning at 6:30 PM. This is a ticketed event. Turkey Dinner cost is $12.00. You are welcome to come at 7:30 PM if you wish to just participate in the auction alone. All proceeds will benefit our local Missions Program. Some include CAP, YWCA of Odenton, Odenton Fire Company, MD Bible Society, and the Odenton Health Center.

Please consider donating an auction item for the event. Give some thought to what you may have in the attic or basement that would be suitable as a gift item. Do you have a talent or service to offer? Are you skilled in knitting or carpentry or computers? Could you offer your help shoveling snow, babysitting, leaf raking, baking cookies, delivering groceries? Could you provide a gift certificate from your favorite restaurant or store? Other suggested donation categories are: handcrafted wood items, children’s toys, seasonal decorations, crafts, sporting goods, limited edition prints, framed paintings, glassware,
tools, antiques, new CD or video, exercise equipment, furniture, new book autographed, working musical instrument, sports tickets, car wash certificate, movie passes, vacation package.

Please include your name, phone, item donated and approximate cost. We will include your name as a donor in the auction booklet. Bring items to parsonage or church office by November 3rd. But please tell us now what you will provide so we can type a preliminary list.

Dinner tickets are $12 each and will be available Sunday, October 13th. See Bev, Kay or Donna. Call the church office for information.
