Welcome Host Organizational Meeting

When you welcome even a child because of me, you welcome me. And when you welcome me, you welcome the one who sent me. Luke 9:48

To help promote the continued growth and effectiveness of Nichols-Bethel, we are renewing emphasis on our welcome ministry. What does this mean? In short, it means focusing on intentionally making visitors and new members feel welcome by making Nichols-Bethel more inviting, our ministries more accessible, and promoting a sense of family and a greater awareness of belonging to the church.

We understand that sometimes finding and making a church home can be a difficult experience. In addition to asking each of you to be conscious about reaching out to visitors and new members, we are introducing the Welcome Host position designed to make the “newcomer” experience easier. The Welcome Host will be available before and after each Sunday morning service to answer questions and provide information regarding Nichols-Bethel and our various
ministries.

So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us. 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Everyone is invited to become a Welcome Host! Whether it is for one service, one Sunday, one month or one year, volunteering as a Welcome Host will be a worthwhile experience. For more information on becoming a Welcome Host there will be an informational meeting July 17th at 7pm. Or, if you are unable to attend the meeting, contact Lisa Seitz at (410) 695-5817 / lisadseitz@yahoo.com or Janet and Ace Reville at (301) 912-3324 / jacerev@bdumail.com for additional nformation.
