There is a very active Nursing Home Ministry in the Church. Each month a group goes to Fairfield Nursing Home on the first Sunday of the month, and to Knollwood Manor Nursing Home on the fourth Sunday. They conduct a short worship service, consisting of hymns (mostly singing lots of the old favorite hymns), a Scripture and a message or devotional thought. The service is closed with a time of meeting and greeting the residents. Though the service lasts only about an hour, it is a blessing to those who go as well as to the residents.
